The guestbook has been retired, but the old entries left here. Hopefully I will create an alternative soon.
James Leeseberg @ 2008-11-20 15:43:49 | I'd be interested in finding what information you have on the family. My father has started to trace our branch of the tree as far back as he can. Drop me an email and I can get you in touch with him. Thanks, Jamie |
Becky @ 2008-10-19 23:25:07 | Was your Gr. grandfather Charles Nachtigall? He was my Gr. Grandfather's brother, also from Wheaton. Do you have any information about the Nachtigalls in Germany? I have their father's name August from Germany. |
Wesley John LESEBERG @ 2008-09-12 10:17:26 | Hello all. It would appear that I am a descendant of August LESEBERG. My great grandfather is William Turnbull LESEBERG. |
Charles Leseberg @ 2008-07-27 18:43:21 | I believe quite a few Lesebergs came from Holstein in Germany. I know I traced my roots there. I worked for a Danish company. Holstein is on the border of Germany and Denmark and of course is the origin of the cow. |
Stephen Daley @ 2008-07-06 08:02:28 | I am a descendant of Ernest Leseberg and Emily Foot. Do you require the details of their descendants? |
James Haberkamp @ 2008-06-08 18:55:44 | I am a decendant of Tile & Anne Leseberg thru thier son Heinrich & also their daughter Lisabeth. It eventually goes down to the Gathmann & Beermann family who came to America in 1852. |
Jennie Long @ 2008-04-16 04:55:12 | Hi Interested to find your site. My great grandmother was a Leseberg, from Hamburg. Her name was Bertha (born 1875). She had sisters, Rosa, Francisca (Cissy), Elfrida and a brother named Arthur. Their father, Moritz Leseberg had one sister(as far as we know), Johanna who we don't think married (there's a note on the family tree saying she lived in Dransfield). Moritz married Adele Hess but we don't know anything about Moritz's parents other than they may originally have come from Bavaria. Moritz, Bertha etc lived in Hamburg. We have evidence (photos) that the family had a coal merchant business. Any chance that our clan could be related to yours? I'm very interested in finding out more about my family, so any leads would be welcome. Thanks Jennie jennie.long@btopenworld.com |
Rusty Mosby @ 2008-03-29 22:54:41 | My Great Grandfather was Henry (Heinrich?) Leseberg, married to Marie Litzke. This would be the one referred to in an earlier post (Linda Leseberg @ 2003-02-07). My grandmother was Pauline Leseberg that married DeWitt Clinton Mosby in Memphis. Does anyone know any history about this Henry? |
